Sugarloaf is a grid of mountain cabins that has seen a lot of renovation over the last decade. Oak trees and junipers give Sugarloaf a nice mountain feel. Most of the streets dead end into the National Forest. The standard lot size here is 2,500 square feet (25 feet wide by 100 feet deep). So, in some areas, it can feel a bit crowded; however, many homes are on double and triple lots. The quiet area towards the top (700 and 800 blocks) is the most desirable. The affordable price and value that can be found in Sugarloaf make it a great place for a weekend starter cabin.
